I can't believe I managed to get a decent shot of my 20 (then 19) month old son with 1/40s. Fraction of a second earlier he was bouncing on our bed.

And I don't care if this type of shot is for female models, they can't compete with this fine little guy anyway

No PP except to up the contrast a bit.

Great shot. Couldn't figure it out at first, but I nearly made a mess in my pants when I realized it was a giant elephant.

It looks like an Asian elephant.

Ha ha, it wasn't exactly small and sneaky to me when I stood in water to my chest only a couple of meters in front of it

It is indeed an Asian elephant, this was shot at Koh Chang, Thailand, were I'm currently on vacation.

The 18-55 has to be one of Nikon's most underrated lenses they make (especially for the price!).
