This is Gandhi. He is approximately 6 years old. We canít say for sure because he is a rescue dog with an obscure past. No matter, heís my best buddy and rarely leaves my side. As Jessí wonderful shot of Photon attests, those of us that can communicate with these guys are truly blessed. I hope you understand Gandhiís message.

Oh Al, this is wonderful!! Gandhi is a gorgeous Golden (my favorite dog...my boyfriend has Golden's) and the message is clear. In fact, he looks like he really needs to go out NOW! There's desperation in his eyes. I'm looking at a finalist, for sure!

A super take on the WA Al. Absolutely adorable. I wish I could get my cat to do that!

Philly, John and Mike -

Thanks much for the looks and comments. Gandhi is obviously a special dog for me. He really is uncanny with some of the things he does.

Mike- My daughter (who has two cats) is fond of that old saying: "Dogs have masters and cats have staff."

Thanks again,

Al

Great shot! How could you resist such a polite request for a walk?

I've been priveleged to see that exact expression on a dog's face before. It makes me smile every time.

My dog speaks to me in many different ways as well. This is a very expressive shot and fits the assignment so well. Did you crop off the end of his tail or was the shot taken as is?

Best. Bill

Thanks so much Peter, I'm glad you like it. The location is Gandhi's choice.

Resistance is futile! I really enjoy it though so he doesn't really have to work so hard. Thanks for the look and comments.

Well, Bill, I cropped it a little. I was torn between doing that and having him dead center in the composition. I was just happy to be able to catch this one with the doorknob and him at the same time. Perhaps I'll look at the crop some more. Thanks for the thoughtful comments.

Brilliant shot and a perfect take on the WA, Al. You can't go wrong with a shot of kids or dogs, and, boy, did you nail this shot of your dog. What a great expression! Bravo!

All the best,

Endre

Wow! "Brilliant" is a huge compliment Endre. Thank you so much and though I know you have other kinds of pets, I'm glad he speaks to you.
