Well, not really. Sometimes the expressions on these dogs at the agility shows I shoot are pretty funny. This one I just processed from one of my last shows last season made me smile.
Nice shot! I envy you getting to shoot agility outdoors. Here in Texas they only do it indoors. Well, down around Houston they often do it under huge open pavillions, but even there it's pretty dark. Do you have a web-site? Mine is at www.dvh-photo.com I'm looking forward to summer. One of the venues I work at has some sky-lights and summer sunshine makes it a lot better.
I looked at your site and for the conditions you have to deal with, you do a pretty darn good job! I couldn't even think of shooting ISO3200! I just have samples on my smugmug pages right now. This year I am going to get serious about my pictures since I have been selling quite a few lately. Here are links to a few of my pictures:
Good pictures! Selling pictures is fun. Offering money is one of the highest forms of complement. I keep toying with the idea of using the slogan "Let me shoot your dog. I promise to be gentle."
Coincidentally I just finished looking at the photos from the agility Nationals as I raised a Border Collie that was competing in them. I didn't see a single shot this goodin that group! Great capture!

My wife was at the Nationals with our 2nd ranked Doberman "Aja". I saw the pictures you were speaking of and according to my wife, the lighting was awful for pictures. I was going to join her, but as soon as heard that they were indoors, I decided to stay home. Thanks so much for the kind comment.
