Here's a collection of images taken over the last couple of years in one of the most extraordinary places I've ever had the pleasure of spending time. Havasu Canyon and its legendary waterfalls and blue-green waters is one of the true gems of the Grand Canyon. I can say, without exception, the colors of this incredible watershed are the most saturated I've ever experienced. The Havasupai are wonderful hosts; the campground (at the right time of year) is uncrowded & peaceful; the place is just totally conducive to creativity. If you like waterfalls, intense colors & amazing light, recreational hiking & swimming, living under the stars in another world, go sometime . . .
I'm sure you don't need any of us to tell you these are outrageously impressive. It looks like you had plenty of time to work the landscape, as these seem fairly comprehensive. My jaw hit the floor on more than a few of them. Very nice. Interested to know what part of fall you were there, as the colors are just phenomenal.
What a fine, beautiful series. They are all terrific photos, and those I am most sensitive to are 7, 9 and the last one, for their immensely pleasing reflections.
Absolutely well done !
Wow, some really great shots. Makes me want to jump in and veg out in the water...
Probably no better place in the world to do just that! I usually like to spend at least half a day there in trunks, water shoes, hiking, jumping off the ledges and swing ropes and swimming between deep crystal clear pools.
