Cool. Cool. Cool!

You've really have made it look like a church... (maybe it's me..?).

Kudos. Look forward to seeing more of your work.

thankyou Suse!! "Church" was the look I was after so it's great to hear someone else sees it too!

& I look forward to posting a bit more on here this year.

The thumbnail looked like a train station but this does look like a church, & a tubular one at that! Cool lens effect. Love it!!!!

I'd love to visit this museum some day. The American Museum of Natural History (in New York) is another great one (in terms of content), and a place where I spent countless boyhood hours.

Very nice use of the fisheye. Is that Canon's 15mm, on a full-frame sensor, or perhaps an 8mm on an APS-C sensor?

Very dramatic. Did you have to wait long to get this shot without any people in it?

only about 5 minutes, it was a weekday afternoon and it wasnt too busy.

There actually is someone walking down the steps to the left, but he's quite small...

Great Shot
One suggestion - take this into Photoshop and ensure it is straight. Seems to be leaning a little to the right (using the center line on the roof to judge)
Good work

Fine, practical use of a great lens.

Hard to keep the feet out of the shot.

Great shot. Has an MC Escher feel about it somehow. Center composition really works here.

Take a really close look. I'm not at all certain it is crooked...the curvilinear image is a little confusing in that regard.

for all of you concerned folks out there, I've just gone back to the original and can confirm that it's absolutely 100% straight as a die. Honest.

If you want proof, I've cut it in half and put it on photobucket

(you'll need to write http: at the front of the address, I didnt want to put the whole thing here to avoid having another picture in the thread!)

I also thought it evokes Escher.

There actually is someone walking down the steps to the left, but he's quite small...

He actually kind of looks like one of those little faceless Escher people.
