Thanks, guys, glad you enjoyed.

That first one (shadows) was taken right after the weather broke after the blizzard, and it was the first possible moment we could fly after digging out. We got 38" of snow at our house in about 28 hours. The abundant new snow made for some very unique views.

Thanks for looking.

Like all of them, but IMHO the first one is too blueish. I would tweak WB a little bit.

Cheers.

Sorry, but that's pretty much exactly how it looked.

Good photographic essay, Jeff, shot from a viewpoint that most of us never see.

Well done, I liked 'em all

Hey Jeff -
Man, no fair. I wish I could get opportunities to shoot like this, but I don't think I could handle the job...

Wonderful images, and although all are super, I gotta say that Chaos knocks me out.

Sheeesh, to think that that stuff is all going on down here and we don't see it except through those major high overheads...

Sweet shots, for sure, all -

Happy 2007 and thanks again to you for your volunteer work as FM.com moderator / administrator.

Here's wishing a great, prosperous, safe New Year to you and yours -

Hi Jeff,

Your first image has a blue cast as someone pointed out, but you can tell it's perfectly accurate because it's laced with the warm tones of a setting (or rising) sun. It's the color tones that make that image such a winner. Bet your little digits were frozen when you finished! Nice work!!

Hey Jeff,
Where do I place my order? I would like "shoreline shadows" in a 20xwhatever. and "little one" in a 8x10, and the first one in your series from yesterday (with the cloud) in a 20xwhatever. I also want "quiet shadows."

Looks like I forgot to log out of my sister in-law's computer last time I visited!

Glad you liked these, Sandy, I'll get those right to you...

These are great! How did you do it? Private plane? Not out of a window unless the glass was really clean and you banked a turn? Curious.

Hey man, thanks for stopping in and checking these out. Not sure I would have guessed that "Chaos" would have been the one for you, but then again, how would I presume to know? I appreciate your kind thoughts, and wish you a great 2007, as well!

Eric & JWilsonPhoto:

Glad you guys enjoyed these. There was just barely enough light to pull that first shot off, and luckily the air was smooth.

Shane:

These were taken from a helicopter, and if I remember correctly, I did have the window open (in contrast to the 'Inhospitable' series in the Black & White Forum). Some may have been taken while in a shallow bank, others not. Thanks for taking the time to check them out!
