Perry, these are all really great ! I LOVE velvia colors and these are nice compositions with nice color. #3 has a "smudge" of something right at the water line in the center of the image. Easy Crop to remove.
Nice 'emotion' to these images. You have a very distinct and interesting style.
I have to say that the fourth one down seems to be out of place with the others (both in terms of subject and in the quality of light).
And as a minor technical note there seems to be dust on the lens in the first three photos and a hair or fiber in the 4th (top left of frame). Nothing a quick clear or spot healing in photoshop won't fix.
John: thanks for your comments. The smudge I believe is a dirty finger print on my ND Grads. It's not easy to keep those filters clean in the field. I think it affects quite a few other shots too.
Ahamed/Al : thanks for your comments and suggestions. I'm heavily influenced by a friend who shoot exclusively Velvia film first a 35mm and now Pentax 67. I don't think I have a style of myself yet as I'm still in the leaning stage.
Ute/christo/Jose/Tim: thanks very much for your look and comments.
Anil: agree with your comment about #3. The exposure is kind off in this one as my intention is to show some details of foreground but it's heavily under-exposed.
bruce: I'm glad you like #1. I was attracted by the green in the scene when I shot this.
John/Todd: I'm glad you like the velvia color. For landscape photos I think Velvia really works well.
Al: yes I'm still trying to find inspirations, shooting the same subject for too long can be boring and I believe everyone has such experience. I need to force myself to try something different and be more creative.
