Marc,
Wonderful series, the first and second could use some cropping in the foreground. As I scolded through the series I noticed that cropping helped reframe them. The others 3, 4 & 5 are very good, my favorite is the last one. Great perpective.

Very nice set. I'll second Zeph's suggestion about the cropping. The first three and the last are my favorites. Did you place the read leaf there on the last shot? It's a nice touch.
Thesee look good, Marc. It's good to see that you got out there again. I like these shots, but I think they could benefit from some different angles. I'm not saying what I have taken out there is the best, but some of these angles look a little awkward to me.
The first, third, and last are the strongest of this set, IMO. I like the simplicity of the close-up on the lower fall. Was this one of the ones you were taking the night I went to shoot in the back? Do you know if the leaves ever filled the pool that everyone jumps into for the best known swirl shot?

Zeph,
Thanks for the feedback, and I see what you mean about cropping and I do agree. They may be best printed with a 4x5 aspect ratio.

Thanks Ben,
I know what you mean, especially the next to the last one. I didn't have time to shoot many different angles from there. Going there after work is getting too late already. I only had time for about 7 exposures and I was already shooting at about 2 1/2 minutes at f8 for the last one.
The close up was from the night Tony was out there and you were shooting above the next to bottom fall. I'm not sure if that pool ever filled with leaves or not. This was my first visit since the 7th.
Excellent series. I like the light coming in through the gap in the first two - especially no 2. I love the composition of the last with foreground rock giving a great vertical perspective and the long lead through to the top left of the lovely green tinged banks dealing with the horizontal. Lovely picture.
