OK Steph, if you're going to beat your Dad you'd better follow the rules. The longest side MUST be 640 pixels. Although a neat picture, this is only 600 pixels along the longest side.

Good Luck

Michael

Nice first post, Steph. Welcome! I'd say that despite your Dad's feelings on the subject, you have a definite shot at it this week. My oldest daughter is a better photographer than I am. It's fortunate that she doesn't have the passion for it that I do or I'd be in big trouble. :worried: My only critique might be that the highlight may be a little bit blown out so that you lose some detail in big sis's head and shoulders which also makes it look like it might have been shot at a time of day other than after curfew. I don't know - it's a small point in an otherwise fine photo. Good luck.

All the best,

Endre

For your Dad's sake I hope your sister had to borrow those clothes from a friend! That is a short skirt! Just tell your dad the pic could have been worse, she could have dragging a guy in with her!

Great use of B&W and the grain just adds ambiance to it. Great first post.

Congratulations, Steph. You more than made the finals with this strong 2nd place showing. May i be the first to declare you the 2nd place winner - well deserved, I might add. Despite my minor critique, I was among the first to vote for you since, in my opinion, your photo tells more of a story than the runaway 1st place alleyway shot - stunning though that may be. Anyway, Bravo! And (if I can be so bold as to speak for the other regulars here at FM) we all look forward to more of your beautiful work.

All the best,

Endre
