One I shot yesterday. The composition isn't quite what I had in mind, I still have to get used to the double flipped view on the ground glass! I easily got used to the horizontal flipping of the Mamiya, but now with a vertical flip in there as well, it's even more challenging! But still very very enjoyable!
Chocy, lovely shots. The image of the guy in the chair with the wicker basket is really rich, and the guy in the last shot just reminds me of how I felt when I agreed recently to shoot a friend's daughter's wedding as a favour!
Arne, that 15mm C-V has remarkably low distortion for such a wide lens.
Coupled with your superb observational and compositional skills it is clearly a formidable tool.
I'm starting to really enjoy using this new lens.
It's even convinced me to buy a 100mm f2.8 Makro-Sonnar for conversion (and a 50mm f1.4 and 70-200mm f3.5-4.5 in anticipation!).
Phuang3,
From your photo and from many I've taken with my 100 apo macro, I get the sense that the lens is outresolving the camera sensor. Its just that sharp. I don't have any shots to pull fro the studio taken on a tripod where the wind isn't blowing everything around a bit but here's one I took last week at high shutter.
Take a look at the bird in the center of this shot. This shot was hand held but at 1/1000th
and the 100% crop of the bird (PK sharpener capture level only sharpening applied) and you can see detail at the 1 pixel level in the feathers. I am pretty sure that had my camera 2x more pixels I would get more detail from this lens or maybe even 3x. (The camera is the leica DMR which has 10 Mp)
and the 100% crop of the branch (PK sharpener capture level only sharpening applied)

This lens is a gem; small, sharp and cheap, what more can one ask for? Even in the close range it does well:
This is another shot from my garden. The lens do outresolve the sensor. It's probably due to the LPF which blur the pixels. It should look more clear than it is, just like your bird shot. I can see moire!
100 APO @ f/5.6 /w all default settings. Just PS resized.
Returned from a hiking trek to Maine. Took my 5D and Oly 510. The Oly came in handy as it features good IQ and I appreciated the lighter weight on a couple of the treks. Shot this after a hike up Cadillac Mountain in Acadia:
I actually wasn't the main photographer. I am a groomsman. I didn't have to take that many pictures and I really wanted to test out how manual focus lens can handle these type of event. It did pretty good actually.
I have more coming as soon as I go through all the pictures from this trip. I took a road trip from the midwest for this event. so there are some landscape and etc.
