p.1 #1 · D200 Menu Shooting Banks?

Hello All,

I've been playing with my D200 for a few days now and I just wondering how the other D200 users are using the different shooting banks (A,B,C,D).

I have been thinking of many different ways to set them up, but sometimes its helpful to hear what others are doing.

Right now I have "A,B,C" setup for my normal shooting and "D" is setup for High ISO B&W shooting.

Thanks,
Bill

I dont have a D200 but I've been seting up my D2h according to light levels. I have one for bright, on for mid and one for dark conditions. The last one is left as a whatever I leave the setting at when I experiment ... so that I don't change the others.
I have the iso, sharpening, colors and flash parameters set up on each bank to have a quick change to shooting from bright sunny conditions to dark inside ones without much of a thought.

I'm not sure that this is the best way though so I'm interested as well to hear what others do with theirs.

My D200 hasn't arrived yet so I can't test this myself.
Does the D200 support loading custom curves like White Wedding on the D70 and D100?
If it does, is the curve in the bank?
It would be nice to be able to easily switch custom curves by switching banks.

just off the top of my head, this is about how i have mine set up:

A indoors, w/ flash (portrait processing, auto ISO disabled, flash WB, single frame shooting, flash WB, etc.)

B indoors, no flash (auto ISO to 800 with 1/30 minimum, custom image optimization, etc.)

C landscapes (vivid processing, ISO 100, S shooting, long exposure NR, etc.)

D sports (C focus, continuous high-speed shooting, auto ISO to 1600 with 1/125 minimum, etc.)

Hi Bill,

I haven't set up the menu banks on mine yet, except for menu A to be my "normal" setup. I do like what Norm did on his, and I should set up something similar I think!
