Just got my 24-105 lens for my 5D.
About half the time, I get "00" shown in my viewfinder for aperute setting. The aperture setting does not respond to the wheel and the shutter freezes open when a photo is taken. Loosening the lens and reattaching it cures the problem, indicating a problem with the electrical contacts. None of my other lenses do this.
anyone have experience with this problem? Will cleaning the contacts on the lens fix it?
