hoya 67mm HMC circular polarizer and Nikkor 50mm f/1.8D. I'm psyched to use this stuff....just waiting for it to come from B&H.
Also adding some more stuff for Christmas. I'll tell you what, it was fun back in the day not worrying about money and just racking up credit card debt on top of credit card debt...if I could do it again, I probably would....but it makes things more meaningful when you have to wait for them. My Jeep put me in a world of hurt ... lift kits, tires, shocks, bumpers, blah blah blah...I'm still paying for all that stuff and don't even have it anymore.
I don't even want to add up what photography stuff I could have if I didn't waste all that money on useless junk.
The 50mm f/1.8D has a 52mm filter thread, as far as I know...
Though I'd suspect the 67mm UV is for a different lens (like his 18-70mm), as I can't think of a reason you'd want to use a step-up instead of just a 52mm filter, especially on the 50mm lens...
