I upgraded my D2h to the new toy in town about a mounth ago and so far so good. In fact, I go as far as saying that the results I get are excellent. Below are a few shots I took during the weekend. Hope you like them.

Sheesh, the longer I wait to decide (and more D2X posts I see) the more the pendulum swings towards the top dog D2X. Despite me convincing myself constantly of how the D2H is good enough for me and how I don't want to be processing the massive files .... I have even thought of buying both!
Ah well, i'll just stick to my lowly D70 for now and just wait for next years budget. it's not a bad thing, I have yet to master the D70 and make it sing!
Nice stuff. I shoot Canon (1D MkII), but I like to see what is happening on the Nikon board. You know, there is just something seductive about the colors from Nikon shots. Just can't put my finger on it. Better get out of here before I have to sell all of my gear. Good luck with your new camera.

See..you aren't supposed to post photos like that because then it makes ME want to get one!
Hehe, You need one:-)
In all honesty, D2x is a fantastic camera and offers a lot to a photographer. Add to this the capabilities of NC and you get a fantastic phtography tool.

Thanks for your comment. The files from D2x are by far superior to the ones from D2h. Please do not get me wrong D2h is a fantastic camera and offers a lot. However, D2x is probably the best camera in the market (at the moment) for many reasons (e.g. Clean images, Excellent Colour rendition, Different crops, 12MP, Ergonomics etc). Buy a D2x if you can afford it. You wont regret it.

Rob,
I own a 1D MKII too. I understand what you are saying about the colours. To be honest with you, both cameras are excellent when it comes to colour rendition. I normally change my standard colour settings to my liking, being a Canon or a Nikon camera. On my D2x I seem to be getting more pleasing (to my eyes) colours with a little bit of in camera AWB and Hue changes.
I guess there is no harm in having both, is there? I hope my wife is not reading this post:-)
