p.1 #1 · D1X Battery Refresh

Hi

I have bought a used d1x.

I have been told to run the batteries through a refresh. So plugged the battery in and pushed the button.

How long should it take to discharge the battery and then recharge? Seems to be taking ages

Any help would be great.

Hello,

A 'refresh' is a complete discharge followed by a full charge. If the battery was fully charged, it could take a while since the discharge is purposely done at a low rate. I haven't done one in a while, but three to four hours seems about right. Usually, a refresh is done on a discharged battery.
