p.1 #1 · D2X - USA Photonation.com ??

Has anyone ever purchased gear from USA Photonation.com? They're listing the D2X for $2800.00, which sounds too good to be true. I've emailed them to determine if this carrys a Nikon USA warranty. I suspect it's gray market and the shipping and handling will be $1500.00.

Eadesigns - Thanks. While I expected gray market, the ratings for USA Photo Nation for the last six months is .66 out of a possible 10.0. The feedback left by customers is horrible. Oh well, $4995 it is.

I recently got a D2x via eBay auction from Cord Camera. $4480 buy-it-now price, very reasonable shipping. That price was better than Cameta's body-only price on the day I pulled the trigger.

Cord is listed on the Nikon USA website as an authorized dealer, great eBay feedback, and their website says they have 38 brick-n-mortar stores in the midwest. They seem pretty reputable, and I was very satisfied with my transaction.

Roberts Imaging will sell them for $4697. Even though the web price is $4999, if you call them, you can get the cheaper price. They are good to deal with too.

Got my D2X at B&H 2 weeks ago for $4595.00. I had to call them to get that price. I was told they had just had a price reduction but it apparently was not showing on the internet site. Well, it still isn't showing but when I asked the salesman for their best price he immediately gave me the $4595.00 number.
