The words "Freedom" and "Liberty" are overused these days, and have lost their real value.

Lincoln said "I leave you, hoping that the lamp of liberty will burn in your bosoms until there shall no longer be a doubt that all men are created free and equal."

Thanks to a fictitious war in Iraq, in the name of "liberty", and nothing being done about the genocide in Darfur, we seemed to have conveniently manipulated the word but lost focus on its real meaning.

I saw the image before reading anything of your post.....It says everything of all the worryings about our times, inside and outside the US.

I definitely like concept and statement of this picture.
