Olympus lets you watch long time exposures develop on the rear screen, real time. I think they call it "live bulb". It's a built in function, and no app is required, same as with doing captures for stacking on Olympus. It should be easy for Sony to accomplish this, and we all know it's doable.

Especially since many of Sony's features are just copied from Olympus anyway... but I suspect the Sony engineers have no idea what some of these features would actually be used for.
