     Tamron 28-75 2.8

Item Sold

Price: $225.00
Payment method: PayPal
Item condition: 9 Shows signs of use, but very clean
Shipping instructions: USPS shipping included in purchase price.

I bought this lens a few years ago to serve as a lightweight/travel option on a D700. Lately, I've been using it on a Df, but now use a D5300 for my travel/vacation photography - so I rarely use it anymore. Also, I got a great deal on a Nikon 24-70, so I've decided to sell the Tamron.

The lens is in great shape. It comes with both caps and the hood. I lost the box and paperwork over the years, so it's not included. I see no scratches, dents, dings, fungus, etc., on the lens.

$225 - shipped and Paypal'd to your door in the CONUS.

This is the non-motorized version.

This is a sleeper lens, IMHO. I've had mine since my first SLR and gone through a least a dozen camera bodies and hundreds of lenses since but still keep this one around for it's fast aperture, small size, and credible performance.

The non-motorized version is the one to have, if your body can deal with it. Focus speed of the motorized version is appalling. (IMHO)

I tried both a few years ago, also on a D700, and wound up using the non-motorized version for a couple years.

I agree. I tried both on a D700 as well, with the same result: the non-motorized version was much faster to focus.
