I like the comp.

Have you got any without the shadow?

Definitely digging the stretched pano aspect on this one but agree with Jeff on the shadow.

What I do find interesting here though is how this shows perfectly how IR needs direct sunlight to do it's magic. Something I've known in the back of my head but never gave it much thought.
Hmmm... thinking through this even more, does this mean when you process IR images you have to reduce contrast? Because the shadows are "dead" so to speak in the IR world.

You still get detail in the shadows, you just won't get that POP that certain colors get when reflecting IR light. I can't speak for Scott but in general there's a fairly hefty contrast boost to most of my IR pics.

Thanks for the feedback guys.
Self-critique:
pano crop, comp works well
shadow detracts, but slightly
missing something overall...not sure what

For most IR images I push contrast hard in processing. One challenge is getting enough color separation in the processing to reduce flatness, whether outcome is color, color swapped false color, or ultimately a BW conversion.

There is certainly a correlation between visible light, reflections, shadows and IR light. shadows, My rig allows in a fair amount of visible light. Other conversions at longer wavelength cutoffs move towards predominantly or near exclusively IR light and come SOOC as BW images.

Silky smooth water and even light.

Those two things would transform this image drastically IMHO.

thx Dave.
Agreed.

This is one of those images.....Maybe something there, can I make something of it, but not sure.
