p.1 #1 · p.1 #1 · a7rIII - 'improved' skin tones?

I'm currently trying out a friend's a7rII as I consider the switch from my Canon 5DmkIII. The one thing I noticed was the different skin tones - even when files from both cameras are set to the exact same WB in LR with Adobe Standard camera calibration.

I know that I can do a custom camera calibration if I need to but also read that the a7rIII was supposed to have improved skin tones.

Can anyone comment on how the skin tones changed from the a7rII to the a7rIII and how they compare to Canon?

You can’t evaluate skin tones on the A7rIII in LR because it’s not supported yet. Only C1 has the correct profile at the moment. Need to wait until Adobe supports it

This hack that folks are using right thinks the files are from the A7rII so that’s also wrong. We have to wait on Adobe. Folks need to realize this right now. Don’t judge color it’s wrong
