Gorgeous Photos, I'm not sure how long you waited for the light to be right but, for my eyes it was worth the wait.
Kind regards, P.

Nori, the scenic drive is a great shot with the colors and composition. The magnitude of the distant mountains is unbelievable. I wasn't aware of Capital Reef N.P. before your post. Glad you posted the great shot. I'll have to put this location on my bucket list.

The compressed perspective worked well I guess. Thanks

For most of the shots at sunrise I was at the location at least 3 hours before sunrise trying to capture the nigh sky.

Capitol Reef is one of the lesser know parks, the Cathedral Valley Loop requires a whole day and best done on 4x4 takes you through one of the most scenic areas in Utah. Glad you enjoyed these

Gorgeous set! I kinda wish the spikes on that sunrise shot were a bit smaller; it always seems a bit weird when they're that thick. Which lens was this on? Some lenses can get really thin, needle-like spikes, and others are big and chunky. It also makes a difference how much sun is peeking out from behind the near subject.

Thanks Fred, not sure you remember but I had seen a picture from you long time back of the Thor's hammer and wanted to visit Bryce to capture the shot since then. The image of Thor's Hammer was long over due

Fantastic series. Normally I don't like shots with man made objects but the 4th with the snaking road is exceptional.

#4 Scenic Drive strikes me most with the light on the cliffs and leading winding road.

To echo what's already been said, the Capitol Reef shot is my favorite with Thor's Hammer being 2nd.

Was the Thor's Hammer shot a single exposure?
HDR? Blended exposures?

Thor's Hammer is blended exposure. Blended using Lightroom's 'Merge to HDR'

Yes, great set, but that scenic drive shot is spellbinding. Did you say that was a sunrise or a sunset capture?

Trip planned there in September of this year - will have to make sure i spend some time scouting that drive.
