Anyone on here have experience with any of the MS Optical lenses? especially in combo with Sony FF bodies? The logical thing for me is to buy a Loxia 21 but, having a pancake lense seems intriguing....

I've not personally tried any of his lenses out but I would like to try the 35 Apoqualia one day on my M bodies.

Not disparaging Miyazaki-san, but you can be sure that a pancake UWA is going to fail big-time on FE mount, thanks to Sony's cover glass. The Loxia 21 works because it's more Distagon than Super-Angulon (if I can be permitted to mix my branding). The MS Optical I crave is the 135mm Fluorit, and that would work nicely. Unfortunately, I need tilt/shift capability at the moment,

The MS-Optical lenses are indeed designed for either film, or a very thin cover glass, a la on a Leica M body. Your experience on a Sony body would be... poor.

I am a big fan of his lenses due to size, color and round bokeh, similar to older m glass with soft glow wide open, eg not comparable to sharp modern Sony/Zeiss lenses. I lately used with Sony A6300/6500 to make a small package. 28mm had a harder to af in low light with Sony M af adapter compared to 35mm & 50mm, maybe the slower aperture and filter. They might be better on M camera but at the same time they might be a challange as manual lenses due to their small pancake designs. The coatings are not the best for reflections.

There is a very nice review on 35mm 1.4 to give you an idea:

Sorry for too many pet shots as I usually test the lenses with them
