Looks like an invasion year this winter for snowie owls here in Ontario and I am sure other places as well. Multiple sightings all over the place at the moment. Last week I had five owls all within twenty or thirty feet of each other at the foot of the lake in Hamilton, Ontario. A sighting of four on a pier not far from these birds and photos on social media of a group of three near Windsor. Without snow, the birds look out of place, snow wont' be far off and hopefully by then we get some adult birds as well.
