p.1 #1 · p.1 #1 · Walt Disney World

I’m heading to Walt Disney World in a couple months. I’m taking my D7500, Tokina 11-16, Nikon 16-80 and looking at a zoom lens like 55-300 or 70-300, or 18-270, 18-300. Last time I was there I had Canon T6i, 10-18, 18-55 and 55-250, the 10-18 was the primary lens for walking around and 55-250;at Animal Kingdom I want to try to get some photos on the dark rides. I’m not sure if I would benefit from a Nikon 35mm f1.8? But then there’s overlap and don’t know if I would gain much from the 35mm f1.8 to 16-80 f2.8-4? And for longer reach, I know the all in onelens aren’t the greates, I keep coming back to the idea that I would probably use it a lot, like a Nikon 18-200 or Tamron 18-270, 18-300(18-400) lens. Thank you

I usually carry my 70-200 and a 16-35. Keep it simple.

jonohio, thank you. Which 70-200 do you have? I’m looking either a Nikon 18-200mm, Nikon 70-300mm or Tamron 70-300mm. I would definitely love a 70-200 f2.8

Well I’m a canon guy but if I recall isn’t the AF better on the 70-300? I have a 70-200 2.8 ii.

I think the Nikon is better then the Tamron, probably same as Canon/Tamron, at least in the 70-300 category, but 70-200mm new Tamron I believe G2(?), is getting great reviews.

I did think about renting a 70-200 f2.8 is try
