p.1 #1 · p.1 #1 · Nikon LR processing :: whose profile do you use?

I have profiles I like for D3s and D800/810 but am wondering what D750 shooters like. Adobe Standard or something else?

Made my own with a Color Checker Passport

Generally "Camera Portrait" is where I start for all of my Nikon processing. I borrowed a D750 from NPS last year and that's what I used for the images I shot with it as well.

The color profile is important, but only somewhat. Personally, I find more color variation between different lenses than I do between different Nikon sensors.

Thanks - I'll try that. I'm not getting the good greens with the D750 that I do with every other Nikon body I process. Kinda flat with a odd hue.

Same as Mark, for years I have created my own profiles with the color checker passport. I did this when I switched to Nikon and my wife was still on Canon...I wanted to match them as much as possible. Right now I am using the new profiles from the DVLOP presets, but I am tempted to switch back to my other profiles.

I just use whatever is default in LR but I will say that Joel was able to really dial his profiles in. In good light his Nikon and Canon stuff was nearly indistinguishable.

Ahh this is the thing that has driven me nuts for years....Everytime I've made my own profile from a color checker...it looks 99.9% like adobe standard. Which I've always hated, especially on Nikon cameras. To me things look so flat and skin looks blotchy.

I'm go back and forth between camera vivid and camera standard. And every camera is different.

BSPhotog.....what are your other base lightroom settings? I'm mainly interested in the contrast and clarity settings.

The D750 is the first body I've been unable to perform that feat.
