I just got this lens maybe 30 minutes ago. Initial testing at 3ft using +4 AF tune setting seems to produce TACK SHARP result...comparable to my Sigma 18-35. The problem is that my D7200 is seing the Tokina as my Sigma 18-38...which uses +12 setting. Are there ways to assign the Tokina under a different lens

Oops..problem solved. Just deleted the Sigma profile and the Tokina was registered under 11-20 f2.8. Hmm...not quite... Is like the D7200 could only recognize either the Sigma or Tokina...

This is interesting and it is a known issue... that Tokina lenses are not probably registered by the Nikon AF tune software. In my case, the D7200 is still using my Sigma 18-35 AF profile to the Tokina..that causes massive back focusing. If I deleted the Sigma profile and then the Tokina is properly registered by the software. So, whenever I have to use the Tokina, I have to remember to turn off AF tune. The lens requires +3 setting.
