Amazing I was at this small holding for less than 24 hours

This went to flickr explore, it is the best photo I have ever seen of this subject - however it is also the only photo I have ever seen, so sadly not as amazing as it sounds. (Probably a few other of my photos from Colombia are the best you will ever see of this species because not many people photograph them. If someone like Lord V were to go there, that would change quickly).

Interesting.

The beetle is some sort of Dung Beetle or Chafer.

Thank you, for the partial ID. I find beetles in the UK difficult but in Colombia no chance.

Very cool, I especially lie the wasp's nest with eggs.

And I think the second photo is a butterfly, actually...perhaps a type of long tailed skipper?
