Hey guys i need some opinions or sugestions
I have 5k to spend on photography gear I do weddings ,currently I have a Nikon d 700 a 70-200 f 2.8 sigma a 50 f 1.8 and a 28-105 3.5-4.5.I am thinking going after Nikon d 4s (used) or d 500 new or just add canon 5d mk3 (used) 24-70 f 2.8 and 85 f1.8 to my current gear "I am going after a better focus and something newer don't mind a crop body"
Any ideas or different suggestions? and why ? Thank u for your time and HELP

The answers you're going to get will be pretty subjective.

Personally, I would sell the D700 and the 28-105.

I'd then pick up a pair of D750's along with a 35mm and an 85mm (or a 24-70 2.8 if you prefer zooms).

I'd also invest in a few Godox v860II's...2 for on camera flash and 2 for off camera flash at receptions.

I would get one 850, one D3s, an 85 1.8 and then see what you have left over.
You could ditch the 28-105 and get a 24-70 Nikon eventually.
Or go 750, D3s, 85 1.8 and 24-70.

I forgot to let you know i am in Bolivia south america, down here is kind of hard to get the lates tech so the d850 are far from get here any time soon, i coud go for the d750 but honestly dosent exite me that much maybe cause i had it on the pass and i got stolen along with all my other equitmen ! and somehow left me a bad feeling, one other thing i am planing only to buy one body cause as a second body i will keep using the D700. so you think the NIKON D500 is not good for it right ?

I wouldn't shoot a crop body but the camera isn't bad. Never used one.

I just picked up a D500, but haven't used it for a wedding yet. It is more than capable for wedding work, as long as you have the lenses for it. Thinking about the future for you, the D500 would be a smart move and maybe add a D850 to replace the D700 when they become available and price comes dow some. Then you'd be using the same batteries, same memory cards (SD & XQD), and have really similar ergonomics.

Advice above on lenses is generally pretty good, but it is hard to make these kinds of recommendations for other people. A lot of lens selection is personal preference and relates to how you like to shoot. If you were to add a DX camera like the D500 to shoot along side your D700, you may need a wider wide lens like maybe the 16-35 f/4 (would give an equivalent FOV to 24mm-52.5mm on FX).

I like a lot the idea of the d500 , ultra wide angle lenses would be necesarie but is not an issue with me since i love night sky shots so would be a good investment one last question in betwin D4s and D500 wich one and why ? thank u

This, but

D500 + D750

now with the 35 and 85 you have 4 FOVs
