I found this species association on the bark of a very rotten tree (Silver Birch?) trunk lying in contact with the wet mud of a partly dried up pond. The lower edge of the section of bark with the colonies was just touching the wet mud.
The sporangia of the slime mould have grown around some colonies of rather angular green jelly. I have found such jelly before and believe it to be a Nostoc species, probably N. commune. I found much larger colonies before, not in any such association:

Some shots were taken in habitat but after the bark bearing the mixed colonies had been detached. Further images were shot at home, on two days, where I could control lighting. I have posted a large number of the images, as this seems to be a rather rare find. (It is also my first find of T. favogenia).
The camera was Olympus EM-1 in manual mode. The lenses were various combinations of: Olympus 4/3 x2TC, Olympus 4/3 50mm f2 macro, Raynox MSN-202 supplementary or, for higher magnification: Schneider HM 40mm reversed on Kiron x2TC. Triple TTL RC flash.
The stereos are crosseye.
