Some serious power floating there. Work horses of the water.

You got me on this one. I didn't realize this was IR at first and I saw what I thought was a HUGE surf (breakers) out there in the distance.

I give this image bonus points for that, as it drew me in to explore and held my attention.

I might try to bringing down the bright wall on the left as that is pulling pretty hard away from the main subjects.

I'm curious why you didn't go for a square crop on this being you are so close already. I think that might work nicely but as shown I feel like I want more space to the right to get them off center.
This could be just my landscape aspect preference speaking, so don't put much weight on that though.

Thx Dave
I agree about the bright building
Kept cropping from the left for balance and preservation of reflections, but I think cropping from the right for a square crop is a good idea
Since I am fond of square crops, interesting it didnít cross my mind
Thx for the feedback

That's exactly what I was thinking.

Very very cool. Love it. +1 on cropping from the right -- that little boat out there doesn't quite balance the tugs and the building/dock on the left side :-).

This crop is fine as it is. There was a time when I thought I preferred square crops too. But I came to realize that my sweet spot was really near square crops. 5:6 to 8:9

Crop seems fine to me, love the subject matter. I think that the pier and building are too hot and they compete.

Rough tweaks below.

What holds me back from really loving this one is that it's very detailed/busy and at this size it's hard to really get "into" it.

More res!
