I think you have found a fine subject. Quite distinctive and somewhat odd with the dress shoes and black socks and canister on his back. I don't care for the composition as it seems to be trying too hard to add to the moment. My eye tends to go to the people in the background who are exiting the frame to the left. His shadow goes away from him too. I would just like to see a shot of him taking up much of the frame. I think his character would be enough to hold my interest. Or, create a composition where the lines lead to him.
