Testing the waters for selling my grandfather's zeiss in exacta mount.
I've been using it on my Nikon d600 (now d810) and I find that I prefer autofocus.

If you have heard of this lens, you probably know it's reputation. Soft/dreamy wide open but incredible bokeh and sharpens up quite nicely at f2.8.

It has a long and somewhat difficult/excessively dampened focus throw. Aperture is continuously adjustable and lighter than focus. Blades look great (there are many) without oil.

The lens itself has wear marks (and I've not cleaned it yet) but glass is clean. There is some internal dust but nothing affecting IQ that I can see.
One of the tiny screws on the lens barrel protrudes very slightly but I've not wanted to attempt to tighten it, certainly it doesn't have any effect on the build (it's solid).

Will include Nikon adapter if wanted.

Feel free to PM with any questions. PayPal fee and shipping in CONUS included.

Your offer at $700 is a great price compared to recent sales.
One tip... this lens is not super sharp that close in as your sample. It improves a lot at 2meters and out and yet still has that wild oof character.

I have the 1951 M42mount "skinny" version. It's THE character lens in my set.
