In consideration of switching from Adobe Lightroom to Phase One Capture One I am looking for some good resources for tutorials and training. When I first purchased Lightroom 1 I didn't have a clue what I was doing, but I purchased Kevin Kubota's Lightroom Training DVD's and became quite proficient after that and some other online tutorials. I realize Phase One has their own tutorials but often we get better results from actual users and I'm looking to the community for some recommendations and advice on websites that offer the best you've encountered so far.

The Phaseone Webinars are excellent - all you need in 5 or so hour long tutorials.

You might like the two-part Fast-track Guide from Lightroom to Capture One Pro that I wrote on the Phaseone blog:

http://blog.phaseone.com/fast-track-guide-lightroom-capture-one-pro/

http://blog.phaseone.com/fast-track-guide-lightroom-capture-one-pro-2/

They should hopefully get you up and running fairly smoothly if you're coming from Lightroom. That was my intention, at least.

The webinars mentioned are excellent.

If you have access, Lynda.com has some video courses on Capture One.

Thank you very much EGrav and Stoffer. The Lightroom to Capture One Pro is something I will definitely look into.

As tempting as CaptureOne is right now, I have decided to purchase the upgrade to Adobe Lightroom 6 (stand alone) as they have announced support for the Nikon D850 on December 19th. For $79 it was worth it to continue with a workflow I've been familiar with since LR1 was introduced years ago. I figure LR6 should last me at least another 3 years and by that time, CaptureOne and other RAW workflow tools will be more advanced as well, plus the opportunity to take advantage of the many frustrated Adobe customers forced into leasing their software, I imagine that the transition to these other tools will be made easier for LR users wishing to look elsewhere. Thank you again to everyone for your input on resources.
