Anyone out there using (or ever used) the Pixelstick? I can't decide if it is worth the price, but does seem to produce pretty fascinating results. What do you think?!?

For those who haven't seen it, take a look here: www.thepixelstick.com

Interesting. I had never heard of the device, until seeing it referenced in relation to some photos documenting our recent lighting and digital projection festival.

Just to be clear, the following referenced photos are NOT mine. The first image, as well as several others in the sequence, seem to to have been 'enhanced' by a Pixelstick wielding raconteur. Seems to work in the context of the event, but can't see how it would be a great addition to my arsenal.

The price doesn't seem that bad. If it be $500 or more, yeah, I'd probably wouldn't go for it. But $350? Hmmmm.....might have to visit this again in a few months.

A local was selling one for $150 and just before I drove there, someone bought it. I am still intrigued with its possibilities.
