Nice looking buck. Color looks spot on as well as the exposure.

+1 @ the weed covering the kill zone... ummm...errr... I mean the side of him, but to me that's just part of nature. Not all images can be text book perfect and to me this adds a bit a realism.

The blown leg and BG tree is more of a detraction IMHO. You should have bracketed this shot.

I think I would trim off from the top and a smidgen off the right side. ROT thing plus it would eliminate the brighter leaves along the top.

Yeah, the weed is what it is, but I kinda like its placement okay. As to the crop, the changing leaves color called me to leave it a bit taller, but I might look at tightening it up a bit and shifting off center a touch too.

I was just rollin' through and popped this from the car. Actually, this was his second pose (generously provided). I was too slow on the trigger for the first one (which would have been weedless and better light, btw).

I may have to return to the area.

not much to add to the nits
overall a beautiful capture, outweighing its deficits
the weed of course jumps out, but also says context, so I am OK with it

I think the crop improved.
I'll have to trust you on the cyan, but I couldn't see it before and still can't even flipping back and forth.

This really is a sweet shot.
Kudos for having the rig ready to go as you did. I imagine this entire encounter only lasted 30 seconds or less.

Nice shot! Looks like late afternoon, or early morning. I would maybe bring down overall exposure, and add a bit of warmth, but as we all know, it's kind of subjective. Anyway, again nice shot, Mike

I like the first best, what great pose and the sharpness and clarity are outstanding. The weed bothers me not a whit.

Very very nice catch Kent. I like your tighter crop, and I may be the only one, but I think that weed adds to the image. I would dim the bright spots some, sharpen the eyes, but otherwise congrats on a great capture.
