My remote shutter (vello wireless shutterBoss) does not have a lanyard and there is not an area to attach any lanyard to it. I seem to need that hand that is holding it quite often and don't have a convenient place to put the remote and wind up putting it in a pocket which mistakenly hits the trigger and takes an image as I am changing settings, whatever. Its frustrating.

Any suggestions on how to attach something to it? I think a lanyard would be ideal so I can attach to my wrist but can't seem to come up with a solution.

Stick a small piece of Velcro to the back of the remote, and a matching piece on something convenient, like a leg of the tripod.

With mine, I tie a small loop in the cord, and hang it over a gizmo on the head or tripod clamp.

I bet the Spider Monkey is a good solution for you. I use the Spider Monkey to attach my light meter to my belt or pants. Quick access release to use. This is better than using a lanyard imo because a lanyard allows the device to swing freely and get in the way. The Spider Monkey is low profile, quick and secure.

I run the wire through the loop where the strap attaches to the camera.
