Need to print a couple of passport photos for immigration purposes.
Already have the photo cropped to 600 x 600 pixels.
The photo has to be 2"x2".
I have the Canon Pro-100 printer and wanted to print 6 identical photos on a 4x6 photo paper (or at least 2 photos).
How do I go about doing that? Seems like the program that came with the printer is pretty useless.
thanks.

Can't you replicate the image layer multiple times in PS and move them around on a larger canvas? Whether or not the inkjet prints will be acceptable to the authorities, I don't know.

Just make sure the background is white enough or they may reject it.

Depending on the area these photos are intended for you will have to see that the lighting, pose and framing do conform to the set standards. It's much easier to go into town and have someone take a set of photos for a few Euro/$...

In photoshop, make a new file (8.5x11" @300dpi) then paste your photos onto the page, using the grid to keep them lined up. You'll have room for around 20 copies on an 8.5x11. Voila!

Make sure you follow all of the specifications exactly or they will be rejected. There also used to be a difference in the U.S. requirements for passport photos and photos used for immigration to the U.S.. I don't know if that is still true, but it's worth checking.

Spend the $10 and get them done at your local drug store.

I just went through this recently, as our passports (wife and me) were expiring later this month. I put a sheet over a door (for a white background), set a chair in front of the door, and used a bounce flash with my camera. I opened the raw image in Photoshop, cropped and sized it to specification, and printed it on an old Kodak dyesub printer. We just got our new passports in the mail last week, so everything apparently was acceptable.
