Here is what I see Brandon,
1. Check for horizon/vertical level to make sure they are straight.
2. Shoot tight, and crop tighter. Too much negative space dampens the strength of captured action. Most here could stand to be cropped a fair amount.
3. Look for 'peak action'. There are plenty of examples here on FM to gain some insight.
4. Number your photos so others can provide comments referencing them.
#1 - okay but really not much here to hold one's attention, could use a boost in exposure
#2 - crop tighter
#3 - action is lost without cropping tighter on the striker
#4 - re-level, while harder to do, anticipation would have helped to get a frame before this one, peak action missed
#5 - okay
#6 - re-level, crop tighter. Only two players should fill the frame
#7 - yup... you guessed it, crop tighter with just the two players in the frame. The action is not peak i.e two players in direct struggle for possession.
Soccer is one of the harder sports to shoot given it's nature. Good news here is you have the concept of ball, faces and action. Next time out, concentrate on filling the frame with action that's at its peak.
