Kim's Convenience Lego Model
Canon EOS SL1, EF50mm f1.8 STM, ST-E2 Speedlite Transmitter, Speedlite 580EX, Speedlite 420EX
This is a little different, but I was surprised how well it turned out. I built this model of a convenience store out of Lego and lit it using two remoted Speedlites. Not sure if it belongs here, but I enjoyed figuring out how to shoot it.
I'm always surprised how useful the SL1 is. People talk about it's size, and often compare it to a mirrorless camera. But what I love about it is that all my EOS system components work with it. In this case, it's super easy to attach my old E2 transmitter and slave in two Speedlites for ETTL. I can dial in FEC right from the SL1 LCD panel.
If I bought a mirrorless camera, I'd have to repurchase all these things I use with my 7D2 and 5D's....Show more →
