I've seen them come in and out of stock twice now at B&H, the only reason I didn't buy is I think I have another month to wait for my D850. Just set a stock alert and jump on it when they come in. B&H says 7-10 days for the Sony G's.

You could also consider 64GB cards, which are still going to be able to hold ~1300 D850 RAWs each. Personally I'm going with 64's.

32GB is in stock everywhere if you just need something to tide you over until stock improves. Still good for ~650 RAWs each.

Lexar is gone.... Not finding them anywhere.... at a "normal" price at least. And Sony is backlogged....

I have found a few Lexar 64's in last week, but gone as well...

I think my 64Gb xqd holds less than 300 raw on the D850.

Are you shooting uncompressed? You want to always be shooting lossless compressed. The average D850 file size is just over 50 MB, so you should be getting about 4 times what you are seeing on a 64GB card. Somewhere around 1000-1200 shots, give or take.

Another option is to buy SD cards and give up the huge buffer for the time being, if you're in a pinch. If you are shooting uncompressed though, simply changing that to lossless compressed will probably solve a lot of your storage woes.

If you get 300 now, and you were hoping to double that to 600 with a 128GB card, you should be able to get over 1000 with a 64GB card with the correct compression setting, and presumably that means you don't need to buy any new cards at all.

That would be like shooting a D3s with a 16mb card.

Yes, I could swear I had a 64...
But it was for my D500 so I guess at the time I didnít care because it was only 20mp.

No need to apologize.

Also keep in mind the in-camera estimates are conservative by roughly a factor of double.

Your 32GB card will hold around 600 RAW (14bit lossless compressed).

If you don't mind 400mb/s speed lensauthority.com also has used Sony G xqd 128gb from time to time for under $90 w reader included. I picked some few weeks ago. Work great on my d500

Wow, didn't realize they had become so scarce.

Lexar folding and D850 have knocked out all the supply. Now we wait on Sony who if they so choose could up their prices considerably until we see if Lexar comes back under the new company or if Sandisk decides to make them. Not good for us consumers.

They were out last I checked. I was going to get one as soon as I was back from Yellowstone. Had been in my cart a while, but they all sold before I got back, I guess. Didn't want it to get delivered while I was away since they require signature when they ship out.

There are no XQD 128gb cards in Australia either. I was lucky to get the last one There are no XQD readers either but I did get 2 from Japan via ebay.

Charles
I picked up a couple of 128gb from videopro in Sydney about 4 weeks back. I wanted the 256gb but they didn't have stock and wasn't going to arrive before heading overseas.

They had the 128gb in stock. Best price in Australia and cheaper than buying from the USA.

For my D500 64gb, was 1.2k RAW.
