I used the bottom one (BCF2000) for a while but I have moved to an X-Touch Mini. It's MUCH smaller and more convenient and I'm able to easily do everything I need with the 8 knobs and 16 buttons!

I went with the Behringer x-touch mini. Much cheaper, and even more important....MUCH SMALLER. The full size one was way too massive...took up almost all of my deskspace. The mini can accomplish most of what I need, is much smaller, and does not need to be plugged into the wall.

Thank u all, X-touch looks amazing.
How sensitive are the knobs ?
The thing is that I need 24 of them for HLS plus 8 for exposure, contrast, ... among other buttons !

The board has two "layers" (far right). So it's all the buttons you see x2

So with 2 units connected I would have 32 knobs, right ?

No. One board.

Hit "Layer A" and all the buttons and knobs do one thing. Hit "Layer B" and now they all do something else.

I understand that, so if I connect 2 X Touch minis (two boards), then I have 32 knobs ?

I got mine with Pfixer (the backend) which is OS X only

What backend do you use to communicate with LR?

I just moved from midi2lr to the Loupedeck and I love it! Is it the be all end all no. They need to give a few more options with the programmable buttons, and they are coming, but for the lions share of my work it fits the bill really nicely.

A review I did on it http://gowensphotography.com/loupedeck-review/
