Fantastic portraits.

Thanks, I really love this lens and use it quite a bit more often than my Noctilux .95 actually.

How does it compare to your Leica R 80 lux on your GFX? They out to be similar in depth of field and field of view, but perhaps not in rendering.

I am still experimenting with 80/1.4R but in general it is really too soft for my taste at f1.4 . Generally I am not very big into famous Mandler's glow of 75/1.4M and 80/1.4R per se and wide open on 35mm format, I much prefer the Noct Nikkor. On GFX, at f2, I think 80/1.4R struck a really good balance between rendering and sharpness and I really like what I see so far. Noct Nikkor is sharp enough wide open although it will sharpen up very nicely stepping down, I don't often feel like I need to step down. On GFX, it will vignette quite a bit but not a bad thing for portrait. On A7r ii, SL, I would pick Noct Nikkor over 80/1.4R but 80/1.4R will go on my GFX more often.
I wish I spend more time with 80/1.4R on GFX but to be honest, Fuji 110/2 is so good that it is my primary lens for portrait when using GFX follow by 150/3.2 HC .
