Tecumseh Land Trust is a nonprofit conservation organization serving Greene and Clark Counties of Ohio. Each year they plant about 400,00 sunflowers in one of their 144 easements. I like the way this old tree is playing along with the flowers by leaning in the same direction.

Really awesome shot. Unique. Love the way everything leans the same direction.

Thank you Derek for your kind words. I just happened to visit the field right before the flowers wilted, and they were all leaning. After seeing this tree, the composition became obvious. I drove by the field yesterday and they were all expired.

Hi Douglas, thanks. It is not far at all from Springfield. It is maybe 4 miles south of I70 on Rt 68.

Just for fun after posting this, I overlaid it with a Florida sunset I shot last year. I think it came out very nice, but a trained eye can tell it is a composite. I have often wondered what others here think about this type of processing. To me it seems no different than other post work except the pixels are coming from multiple images shot at different locations and different times. Is modifying a pixel OK, but replacing one is not? I'm not sure where to draw the line?
