Hello FM. I posted this story originally on another forum that I'm a member of but I thought the macro board here would enjoy it as well.
When I first saw this spider, I was a bit confused. I was considering all sorts of possibilities. Perhaps a juvenile huntsman. Perhaps some other spider I didn't recognize.
The eye pattern kept telling me I was wrong.
I didn't know until confirming it with google, but jumping spiders live here in the Philippines too!
I haven't been able to nail down an exact species yet, but anyways...
Meet Pinoy spider bro, aka kuya gagambang Pinoy.

He spotted something interesting, and went to investigate!

An inferior house spider (which I have not yet identified either ) has been captured!

Hard to tell it from here, but this shot was focused on the spidey snack.

He's looking at me like yeah, I'm eating a spider, so what?

Almost gone, and nice detail of the top side mounted eyes:

After he ate, he retreated to his little hideout, which you'll notice has an interesting decor.

Yep, he's got a snack stash going on.

Very carefully we can focus on him behind his corpses.

A few minutes later he came out of his hideout on another adventure:
