Hi all,
I had the chance to visit Page, AZ for the first time and visited Horseshoe Bend and Upper Antelope Canyon. It was a great visit. I am still working on all my images but wanted to share a few.

The Antelope canyon pics are OutFreakingStanding!!!

As much as HB is an overdone shot, it's still an amazing location to photograph. My issue with your photo of it is the lower right section of the image and foreground rocks cutting into the scenery. I'm sure you're aware of it. Was there a reason you couldn't get close to the 2000ft+ death daring cliff to get a "cleaner" image?

Nice work on these, Z. No matter how often I see Antelope it's still amazing. We were there in the spring. HB was mobbed. Getting one of the few sweet spots required either much luck or patience. It's surprising how long a selfie can take. I wasn't aware of a death daring cliff but doubt I would have been game anyway.

Then you didn't get close enough.

I've never been myself, but I've seen many pictures of the cliff at HB. It has been noted that people fall to their deaths getting too close as well. I don't want to post an image here, since it wouldn't be mine, but do a search for "HorshoeBend cliff", and you'll see what I mean.

Thanks, Ryan.

For the Horseshoe Bend shot, I arrived a bit late and it was already pretty well staked out. The particular location I was standing it was pretty precarious to get right up to the edge, so I decided to try and incorporate some foreground element. The sky was pretty nice so I decided on a vertical. There was another place higher up that was already taken where I think the iconic full view of the river can be obtained if you don't want to stand right at the edge.

Thanks for the comment. Antelope was my favorite stop on my trip. I booked a photographer's tour which was essential to get these photos as the regular tours get herded through quite quickly through the canyon.

Number 3 - I haven't seen this perspective much so it stands out for me.

Thank you - walking through the slot canyon I reminded myself to constantly look up...lots of bracketing to capture the bright sky and the dark canyon.

Thank you - there's a B&W taken within Antelope Canyon that sold for $6.5 million! It's by Peter Lik and titled "Ghost." I think it may be the most expensive sale of a photograph. Thanks, Morris! I'd be happy if someone would pay to print it!
