Niece and her two children, evacuated from Tampa, dad is a first-responder.

Thoughts? Not sure about the wrinkles - want a pleasant reality and not over-the-top "Barby" job.

Don't touch the wrinkles - they are more 'smile lines' to me anyway!

Digging the eye framing on #2 - not sure if the right side is necessary.

I could use a little boost to the shadows on both, but nice captures!

Nice expressive embrace. Under the circumstances, you'd never know by the look on their faces. Looks like their mind was off Irma for at least a few moments of time.

Some shadow adjustment, selective color shift (cyanic hair, etc.) and selective USM ... mostly targeted to reveal their expressiveness. Pretty sure she doesn't have cyanic hair (AI=AR > skylight cyan), and am guessing that her sweater and watch band are also neutral.

Maybe tweak the color, high-pass sharpen and selective mid-tone contrast bump?

two nice comps
love the mother daughter pic
again, I missed the cyan tint in yours.....but it was just a bit....I had the whole surge!
While the wrinkles are part of the person, and it is a judgement call how much digital make-up to apply

My attempt to adjust for cast, choosing among different bands of Mom's sweater which I am thinking is black/gray.
Soften skin brush in LR.

Curious what other's illustrate

Maybe some rotation, crop, color tweaks, dodging, bumping exposure for the faces and softening wrinkles without removing them?
