Dig the colors!

Looks like hydrangea leaves but only in shape/size - color is very alien.

Few tweaks below.

Yes, color looks very strange to me as well. Most I see around here look like this:

Thanks for the tweaks Jeff. Some nice improvements. One thing I would have loved to do is wash the plant before photographing it to get rid of the white film on parts of the leaves.

In taking this photo, I discovered something that I wanted to pass along to others. I took this photo inside a roadside greenhouse that sold all kinds of flowers and potted plants. The ceiling of the greenhouse was a translucent plastic material that cast a nice even light on the plants, almost like a soft box. I've never experimented much with photographing flowers, but I know that a major part of the success in this endeavor is the lighting. Anyone serious about photographing flowers might consider doing this in a greenhouse where the owners will permit it. Anyone else ever try this?
