I think I would not form any opinion on "leaked sample" photos.
Well gee sorry. I thought most by now knew how to get to Nikon rumors, it's been discussed enough. Had anyone asked nicely, I would have looked for it for them.
I didn't say I had an opinion of the camera yet. I said I wasn't that impressed by the photos.
Hope you FM'er early adopters share your photos with us. Nikon's done an excellent job in keeping a lid on probably the most important sales feature - the sensor's output. At least it is BSI, in competiton with Sony.
Looking forward to the D850 image threads - especially with the focus stacking with, say a 35/1.4 or a 105/1.4 or a ...

Yes. Sounds like entirely new sensor and has BSI which no previous Nikon sensor had. Surely a Sony sensor made to Nikons liking but also not a Sony sensor we've seen before in a Sony either.

As for the sample photos, I don't know why anyone even looks at those. They have never, ever, been indicative of how the body performs and are typically very average.
