GT1532
GT0532

I cant choose between the above Gitzo tripods. Should i stay away from 4 section tripods? Im 5'7. Sony a7r II mated with a 24-70 gm 2.8. Should i put into consideration that i may get a 20-700 2.8 later down the line? Tripod will be used for in studio shots of products & people. Mostly for street style/fashion & editorial photography. Some video will also be done.

How much is the 20-700 f2.8? I might consider switching systems if I could afford this lens

i have (2) 4 section tripods and they are as rigid as my 3 section one (believe me if they had a 4 section version out when i got mine i would have gotten that instead). with good designed products you really don't have to worry about that sort of flex anymore.

same goes with center posts on good designs the are quite rigid.

i will say that a RRS TQC/TFC-14 kinda makes the Gitzos look like noodles. i'm 5'7' too. that travels with my all the time. originally a TQC (with centerpost) then converted it to a TFC (w/o to lighten it up)
